The New Zealand Business Diploma at NZIE.  The NZIM Diploma in Management is the effectively the first 6 papers of the NZ Diploma in Business. This means that graduates from this course will only need to study for another 6 papers to gain the higher level NZ Diploma in Business course. Duration: 38 weeks

Hours: 20 hours per week . Monday to Friday  from 9am-1pm or Monday to Friday 1pm-5pm . Friday is a tutorial-style session.

Start Dates: 29 April 2013, 22 July 2013

New Zealand Students

Have a minimum of 50 NCEA credits at level 2 or higher on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) with a minimum 12 credits at level 2 or higher in each of three subjects from the approved subject list, including a minimum of:

Eight credits at level 2 or higher in English or Te Reo Māori, of which four credits must be in Reading and four in Writing, or equivalent; and

Have a minimum of 14 credits at level 1 or higher in Mathematics or Pangarau on the NQF, or equivalent.

Discretionary admission (for applicants aged under 20)

Applicants who do not meet the general admission requirements and who are less than 20 years of age when the course begins may be considered for discretionary admission if they can demonstrate aptitude for study at the required level.

Special admission (for applicants aged 20 and over)

Applicants who do not meet the general admission requirements and who are at least 20 years of age when the course begins may be considered for special admission if they can provide evidence of aptitude or appropriate work or other experience

International Students:

International Students: 5.5 or higher for IELTS (or an equivalent test) or a TOEFL score of no less than 550;
• Students must be at least 18 years old.  Good marks in High School or previous tertiary qualifications.
