So what are these Mentorship’ and Internships?

It’s not easy out there in the employment market so we’ve designed our employment programmes put some impressive stuff in the “experience” section of your C.V.

Our extensive employer network gives you access to a range of employment experiences throughout your time with us.

Here’s how we do it:

Mentorships

NZIE, through it’s ‘Think’ Recruitment services will set you up with opportunities to “get your hand dirty” in the work place. You could work anything from a one day to one week. You’ll have the opportunity to be mentored by an employer and list this on your CV.  This will help you stand out among the pile of CV’s on your prospective employer’s desk.

All you need to bring is a good attitude and a willingness to work hard and we’ll set you up with the right ‘mentorships’ to speed you towards your future career.

Our Mentorship programme is available to all students who study with us.

Internships

So you’ve got some real life work experience and a qualification ‘under your belt’. Now it’s time to take it to the next level with our Internship programme.

Internships will give you a longer work experience opportunity with a NZ Employer. Most of our Internships are unpaid and will go for a maximum of 4 weeks. Many of our graduates from the Internship programme have gone on to be placed with the same company they did their Internship with.

Internships are available for all graduates of our Advanced Level Business and I.T. Diplomas.  Once you’ve finished the course you’ll be ready to land that dream job and really get your career started.
